Our weaving mill has a legacy spanning over three decades, and to this day, it remains a family-owned operation. The owners are not businessmen, but engineers of the highest caliber, driven by a shared vision of innovation, quality, and sustainability. Gayatri Pashmina Inc. is the only luxury manufacturer in Nepal solely owned and operated by a family of engineers.
Over the years, we have not only gained the trust of global brands and individuals who admire our work, but we've also built a tight-knit family—our team of employees, local artisans, and passionate creators who share our love for craftsmanship. Today, our team has grown to about 50 dedicated members, and with that growth comes a deep responsibility: to care for them and their families.
Women’s empowerment has always been at the heart of our values—over three-fourths of our workforce are local women who live near our mills, and we are proud to support their growth and independence.
Empowering People, Especially Women
Keeping the craft alive in our hearts has always been a core commitment. We believe in passing on the skills of our ancestors and invest more in training artisans than any other manufacturer in Nepal’s luxury textile industry. Over half of our mill’s weavers are women—many of whom joined us without prior experience but grew into skilled artisans through our training programs.
Quality control is central to everything we do. Every product that leaves our mill is crafted by hand with meticulous attention to detail. While we do not operate our own spinning unit, our yarns are sourced exclusively from some of the world’s most reputable spinning mills. We work only with OEKO-TEX® and GOTS-certified yarns, ensuring that every single piece we produce reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and authentic craftsmanship.
